A Look Back at W@W Videofest by Phoeben and Mango Red

For the third installment of our W@W Videofest Throwback, we proudly bring back the hilarious collaboration of videoman Phoeben Tecson and the comical duo behind Mango Red, Ryan and Randall.

During the filming of this video, the pair was just new to the Manila wedding scene but has already made a name for themselves in their home province. Phoeben, a long time W@W supplier, presents a quirky take on W@W and its purpose with a parody of the hit movie “Forrest Gump.”

Since the release of this short film Phoeben has gone on to capture countless love stories of W@Wies. Ryan and Randall, on the other hand, decided to abandon their dreams of becoming movie stars in favor of becoming rock stars…of the photography world.

Six years after their film debut, Mango Red rekindles their W@W connection by lending their superstar skills to the shoot of the Veluz Videofest posters.
