WaW Wedding Tip Sheet: He asked. You said, “Yes!”… Now what?

After the giddy feelings and telling your closest friends & family members regarding the proposal, you are left with the question, “What’s next?”

You might get asked a million questions especially regarding when and where you’d like to have your wedding. You might also get bombarded with so many recommendations from well-meaning and not-so-well-meaning individuals.

How do you deal with this new phase in your life?

First, tell your parents of your plan to get married. We live in a society where “pamamanhikan” is still important. The process of the groom asking the bride-to-be’s parents for her hand in marriage may be old fashioned but for a lot of families, this process is important because it implies that the groom respects them and their position in the life of their daughter. It is also important for the groom to tell his own parents of his plans, after all, the groom’s parents should be present during the formal pamamanhikan.

Second, before you go and visit a bridal fair, read up about wedding preps first. There are reputable sites where one can get information from fellow couples – those who are further along in terms of preparations or who are already done with their weddings. They can give valuable pieces of advice and they can give you their reviews of suppliers. Of course, reviews must be taken with a grain of salt. One or two negative reviews should not prevent you from considering a supplier especially if the said supplier has a lot of positive ones. (Personally, I would advise that you join the Weddings at Work community so you can have a support group as you go through your preparations.)

Going to a bridal fair, unarmed with reviews and the like, will make you prone to impulse booking. Reading up about a supplier after giving your down payment is never a good practice. You can’t get your down payment back because most have clauses in their contracts that reservation fees are non-refundable.

Third, it’s always better to finalize your date before sending out inquiries. That will make things easier since the suppliers can tell you right away if they are still open for bookings or if your date is already taken. No need to spend time discussing packages and your wedding plans if the supplier can’t handle your date anyway. Note: This date should be one that you also consulted with your parents, because some end up changing dates due to the parents’ insistence.

Fourth, if you’re not the type who is easily satisfied, then don’t go for a package deal. Avoid going for full planning as well, because you will end up researching even if you’ve been given options by the coordinator/planner whom you hired. Complete your roster of suppliers on your own and hire a day coordinator. That person can guide you but you can get the satisfaction of having researched for yourself. Being busy at work is not a good reason for getting a full planning service. As the saying goes, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”.

Fifth, have a working budget for your wedding but get ready to add a bit more to it once you’ve gone around your first bridal fair and you’ve seen actual rates. I would not advise that you already book suppliers on your first bridal fair unless you researched regarding the said supplier already.

Bonus Tip: Remember that the greatest deal is not always the lowest deal. It is the deal where you can get more bang for your buck. If the supplier is the type who will go the extra mile for you, then you are in good hands, and believe me, on the day, you will need these kinds of suppliers.

They have 5 kids and planning their wedding already for next year. Last Friday, Bob surprised Lette with a proposal in a cinema.

Here’s the kuwento from Albert brother of Bob.

Benz:
Kwentuhan mo muna ako para alam ko what questions to ask.

Albert:
Wala na kasi siya maisip ibang way. Hahahaha! Hahahaha![/cs_text][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/BobandLetteNicolasProposal2.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=”” class=”aligncenter”][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/BobandLetteNicolasProposal3.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/BobandLetteNicolasProposal6.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/BobandLetteNicolasProposal4.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Benz:
Anong pinanood ninyong pelikula?

Albert:
So, kanina after 5 trailers, ayun pinlay na namin yung 4-minuter video. Moana yung movie na screen kanina.

Benz:
Binook ni Bob buong cinema?

Albert:
Oo. 56 seats. Hahaha! Last full show ata yun eh.

Hahahaha!

Benz:
Sino mga may alam ng proposal?

Albert:
Bale ang may alam lang is Limacon, then ako, brothers ko and sisters.

7:30 p.m. nagkita sila Limacon. Kumain muna then kunwari bili ticket pero di alam ni Ate Lette naka set up na kami dun sa loob. Then by 8 p.m. yun na showing na trailers then yung video. Hahahaha! Nagulat talaga siya.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/BobandLetteNicolasProposal7.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=”” class=”aligncenter”][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Benz:
Kailan ito ni Bob na plano?

Albert:
Haha! Sobrang kabado sya eh.

Benz:

Albert:
Parang mga 1 week before ata. Kasi nung tinatanong ko pa siya last week parang di pa niya alam eh. Hahahaha![/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/BobandLetteNicolasProposal1.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=”” class=”aligncenter”][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Here’s Lette’s side of the story:

Benz:
Kuwento mo naman anong nangyari. Anong sabi niya (Bob)? Bakit nasa sinehan kayo, etc?

Lette:
Wala siyang sinabi. Friends ang nag aya kuno manood.

Benz:
Anong feeling? Kailan ka umpisang kinutuban?

Lette:
Di man lang ako nakahalata.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/BobandLetteNicolasProposal9.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=”” class=”aligncenter”][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Benz:
Magaling si Bob mag surprise or first time ito?

Lette:
Naku, first time.

Benz:
Yihee! Pogi points si Bob!

Lette:
And walang occasion so no idea talaga. Korek!

Benz:
Nage-expect ka pa ng proposal since preparing  na kayo for wedding?

Lette:
Siyempre! Hahaha! Na-pressure nga yata eh. Lol!

Benz:
Hahaha! Ang galing ni Bob. Maski nage-expect ka nakapag surprise pa din siya![/cs_text][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/BobandLetteNicolasProposal8.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=”” class=”aligncenter”][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/2″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/BobandLetteNicolasProposal10.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/2″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/BobandLetteNicolasProposal11.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]

WaWParazzi: Paul Jake Castillo and Kaye Abad Proposal

[cs_content][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 45px 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Around one week before the May 21st surprise proposal of Paul Jake to Kaye, I got a call from celebrity stylist Patty Yap. She was calling since she said, Paul Jake wanted to hire us to cover the surprise birthday celebration for his girlfriend Kaye.

And so when the team of Nice Print was preparing on the day of May 21st getting ready to head to Alabang, I got another call, this time from Paul Jake himself. He said that nobody knew, not even the closest friends that he was going to propose that night! Only Paul Jake, Kaye’s dad and brother knew since he formally asked for his daughter’s hand.

And so needless to say, Paul Jake told me to make sure it was to be kept a secret! And so the excitement for all of us actually multiplied a 100x.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 45px 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_block_grid type=”three-up”][cs_block_grid_item title=”Block Grid Item 1″]PaulJake_KayeProposal1[/cs_block_grid_item][cs_block_grid_item title=”Block Grid Item 2″]PaulJake_KayeProposal14[/cs_block_grid_item][cs_block_grid_item title=”Block Grid Item 3″]PaulJake_KayeProposal3[/cs_block_grid_item][/cs_block_grid][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 45px 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/PaulJake_KayeProposal18.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 45px 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]So at the rooftop of a building in Alabang, Kaye walked into the place, and got soooo shocked to see the familiar faces of family and friends.

So nung napag-usapan namin ‘yung exchange gift, talaga namang excited ako. Tinanong ko s’ya ano’ng gift n’ya sa ‘kin. Siyempre ayaw nya sabihin.

Tapos humingi ako ng clue. Sabi nya sobrang matutuwa raw ako, maiiyak pa raw ako. Eh di lalo akong na-excite. Then sabi ko starts with letter ano yung gift nya. He said ‘S’.

Sabi pa nung isang friend ko, hindi naman siguro ako papaasahin ni Erick nang ganun since he knew I wanted to get married already.

Come the assumed proposal day, napag-usapan namin mag-exchange gift sa araw ng kasal ng barkada n’ya.

Then he greeted me Merry Christmas sabay abot ng gift.

It was a minion! Si Stuart. Heartbreaking (Mimma)!

The Second Time

On our 3rd anniversary, we went to Batanes to celebrate. Sobrang scenic ng lugar, nakakaiyak sa ganda. So ayun, expect na naman ako. Nakakita pa kami ng proposal mismo on one of our tours.

On our last night, nagpa-reserve kami sa Bunkers Cafe para magdinner, `yun din kasi exact date ng anniv namin. So ayun mega expect ako. Hahaha!

Dumating na `yung dessert at natapos na kami kumain. Walang question at walang sing-sing.

The Third Time

On our 4th anniversary and his 32nd birthday, we went to HK and Macau.

Saka nabi-buildup din kasi ng friends and officemates na tuwing may trip kami eh this is it na. Saka eto rin ‘yung first out of the country trip namin na kami lang. Kaya ayun!

Fourth Time’s the Charm
On my 29th birthday, we went to New Zealand.

After nun, never na talaga. Ang hirap kasi hindi mag-expect Mimma. O baka ako lang yun? Hahaha!

‘Yung mga kasama namin, with my bestfriend, sumamba muna kasi INC sila. So kami lang ni H2B naiwan sa cabin.

Turquoise lake, snowy mountains… Sabi ko sa kanya picture kami. Then sabi n’ya, bago kami mag-picture, may sasabihin siya.

Lumuhod siya bigla sabay labas ng box!

Binuksan niya yung box then “Marry me” sabi nya.

Waaah, ganun pala un! Nakakaiyak talaga sa tuwa!

So ayun, he proposed 3 days after my birthday, when I was no longer expecting it and I’ve accepted already that it won’t happen in NZ.

The Proposal that almost happened

Hahaha!!! Kasi yung last inspection before kami mag-board ng plane, as in kakalkalin yung gamit.

Nauna ako magpa-inspect, after ako kapain, lumingon ako kasi parang may commotion. Nagtatawanan sila nung inspector. Palusot niya nun hinalungkat daw briefs nya. Hahaha!

Ayun, napa-whew sya. Kasi mapapasubo sya kung sakali. Hahahaha!

When you have been with your boyfriend for a lot of years and at the stage where marriage have been discussed, it is not surprising to find these women practice what they’re going to say or how they’re going to react once their boyfriends go down on their knees and pop the question.

That’s why we get giddy on every possible event that it could happen. Will he propose? Is it tonight? Will it happen today? Here are some of the funny Hopia stories. Apparently there are plenty of them.

Sometime in mid-2014, my boyfriend shared a story to me about how they were teasing one of the girls in their high school barkada that her boyfriend will propose to her during their trip to the US,” shares Bianca Rae Danao. “Apparently, it will be their first time in the US.”

She continues, “During that time, we had a trip planned for October for Bali. It will be our first vacation outside of the Philippines. I suddenly had this feeling that Bali might be “it” for us. In May last year, I lost a ring in a hotel in Baguio. I had this crazy idea that maybe he was keeping it and using it to buy me an engagement ring. Feel ko talaga Bali na.”

Her excitement continued to build that Bianca made sure she brought the right outfits to go with it. “We were vacationing with another couple friend, so may kukuha ng picture if ever, haha!” She laughs.

March 2015 (El Nido, Palawan). We were in El Nido for our 4th anniversary this year. Before that, medyo tinatanong-tanong ko na siya about engagements, and one time, I even asked him when he’ll propose, and he smiled and said, “Soon.” El Nido made sense kasi it was our anniversary. Also, I just felt like Gerald is not the type who’ll just propose in an ordinary place, but I also know he won’t go through anything that will require extensive planning – nothing like the flash mob types. So El Nido seem to fit the bill.

June 19, 2015 (Tinyan-Chamantad Viewpoint, Sabtang, Batanes). Somewhere along the Tinyan-Chamantad Viewpoint, while I stopped to catch my breath, I looked around the rolling hills around me. It was so calming, and then suddenly, I remembered the proposal and I panicked! My heart raced and a voice in my head kept on shouting, “Oh no sana wag dito! Ang daming tao nakakahiya!” Sobrang na-stress ako! Hahaha! And then Gerald led me to the rock – one of the spots in the view point where people go to take photos. Sobra kong kinabahan! I was thinking hindi ko kakayanin pag bigla na lang lumuhod dito si Yayay!! Well, to my relief (and disappointment – I can’t seem to make up my mind about this engagement: gusto ko ba talaga o hinde??) he didn’t propose that day.”

“I really wanted it to happen in a beautiful place and have someone take a photo while it’s happening with the view in the background,” Bianca continues. “I got the beautiful view, but not the photo. Sobrang na-dyahe yung fiance ko at pinaalis niya si manong tour guide namin before he proposed. It was alright, though, kasi I don’t think either of us will ever forget the proposal even without a photo.”

How about misunderstanding a romantic gesture as “the moment”? We’ve got those stories, too!

“…’eto talaga nangyari sa amin. Anniversary namin,” Leslie Ann Alcala says. “Di ko lang tanda pang-ilang year naming anniversary. We had our dinner date. Then s’yempre exchange gift.

Parang nag-away/nagtalo pa kami while having our dinner date. Hahaha! Lesson learned. ‘Wag assumera hahaha!”

“But, eventually (Mimma), after the couple ring, wedding ring na ang sunod. He did not propose to me na. He “proposed” to my parents bago siya umalis nun papuntang Dubai para magwork. He told them after a year, he will marry me na,” Leslie shares.[/x_text][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section][x_section style=”margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 45px 0px 45px 0px; “][x_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” bg_color=”” style=”margin: 0px auto 0px auto; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/IMG_2201.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section][x_section style=”margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 45px 0px 45px 0px; “][x_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” bg_color=”” style=”margin: 0px auto 0px auto; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_text]Gem

“Nagpropose din naman on the same day but hindi lang sa way na ine-expect ko,” Gem Alvarez-Andalajao started.

Nag book ako ng trip to Puerto Princesa for our 6th anniv as bf-gf last July 2014.

Ang itinerary namin for that day is underground river so inisip ko baka dun siya magpropose.

Nag-expect ulit ako na baka “this is it!”

But sad to say, wala pa din. We went back to the hotel na.

Habang nasa kubo kami at umiinom ako ng kape at nagyoyosi sia, he proposed…

“Year 2014 when we started talking about wedding. Lagi ko kasing nakikita sa feeds ko sa fb about proposal so im teasing him all the time when he will propose…so 5 years na kami that time,” admits Gem. “Ang expected ko lang talaga na time na magpo-propose siya is yung trip namin sa Palawan.. Kasi it’s our 6th anniversary kaya talaga nag-expect ako.”

Leslie continues, “Hindi kasi mahilig si hubby mag-surprise. He’ll always ask me, ano’ng gusto kong gift sa kahit na ano’ng event na dumarating sa life namin. Then ‘yun nga, nung anniversary namin (either 6th or 7th year anniversary), he said may surprise siya sa akin. Tapos when we met na hindi pa niya binibigay yung couple ring, medyo tensed at excited siya. So I thought, this is it. Yahoo! Finally! Hahaha!”

Bianca, on the other hand, says that she anticipated her boyfriend to propose after dating for more than three years.

Asked on whether their fiancés ever found out that they were expecting to be proposed to, Bianca answers, “He only found out about it after we got engaged. Kasi I was chatting with my friend over Facebook and kinwento ko sa kanya all my expectations tapos sabi niya, “Eh hopia monggo ka pala eh!” Kinwento ko kay Gerald (her boyfriend) ‘yung sinabi ng friend ko at tawang-tawa siya. Lalo siyang tawang-tawa when he read the exact details when I blogged about it.”
“Yes,” Gem replies. “After he proposed, nak’wento ko sa kanya ‘yung mga times na ine-expect ko na magpo-propose siya.. Like yung 12am, underground and dinner namin.”

Yes,” Leslie laughs. “Kaya nga bigla siya natahimik at na-pressure. Kasi hindi niya expected na in-expect ko na, hahaha! At nagkatampuhan pa kami. Kasi nga emotera na ‘ko dahil disappointed. Haha.”[/x_text][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section][x_section style=”margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 45px 0px 45px 0px; “][x_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” bg_color=”” style=”margin: 0px auto 0px auto; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_image type=”none” src=”http://weddingsatwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/Alfie-Mhai_Artists-Choice-0005.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section][x_section style=”margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 45px 0px 45px 0px; “][x_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” bg_color=”” style=”margin: 0px auto 0px auto; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_text]
No regrets!

We wondered if any of our W@Wies felt that they would have enjoyed the trips more if they did not anticipate a proposal. All of them said “no.”

According to Bianca, “For me, okay lang na umasa ako. It makes for funny stories, haha!”

“Yes,
” says Leslie. “Pero saglit lang na na-ruin at hindi ‘yung date. Yung mood. But it gives way kasi na makapag-talk kami ng plans namin sa aming relationship. Mas naging okay kasi nga napag-usapan over dinner ‘yung mga goals, plans, or expectations. Mas naging clear ang lahat.”

As usual, we asked our W@Wies for tips to share to women who are hoping (or even expecting) a proposal anytime soon; and here’s what they have to say about it:

“Don’t feel too bad about your umaasa stage kasi nakakatawa sila pag-usapan after you get engaged,” assures Bianca. “Okay lang umasa, but don’t let this get in the way of your relationship, of having fun, and experiencing new things and places with your significant other.”

Gem lightheartedly quips, “Tip to from an officemate: Sabihin mo ang ring size mo para sakto at walang adjustment na kailangan.”[/x_text][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section][x_section style=”margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 45px 0px 45px 0px; “][x_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” bg_color=”” style=”margin: 0px auto 0px auto; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_text]More W@W Wedding Proposal Stories

Pero on our 3rd year civil wedding anniversary, he did.
The kwento. The usual, we ate out kaso naloka ako kasi every anniversary, we splurge.

Talagang we eat sa mga sosyaling resto kahit na super kurips siya, pero this time sa isang pizzeria lang kami.

I asked pa before going out kung mag-aayos ba ako or what, he said no. So ayun, hindi naman sa nalungkot ako pero syempre minsan lang naman kami makakain ng bongga.

Pero moving on, looking forward nalang ako sa exchange of gifts namin. Pagalingan kasi kami mag-gift.

After dinner, he asked kung saan ko gusto pumunta, sa flyer or sa the gardens by the bay. I said sa flyer, so flyer it is.

Then he started reminiscing. May away pang naganap. Tapos kinuha ko ung bag ko at binigay ung gift ko: Wines in a tube.

And then wala siyang binigay! Naloka ako!

Pero after a few minutes, tumayo siya at pinatayo ako. And then he popped the question na, “Will you marry me again?”” —Rose Amistoso[/x_text][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section][x_section style=”margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px; padding: 45px 0px 45px 0px; “][x_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” bg_color=”” style=”margin: 0px auto 0px auto; padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_column bg_color=”” type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_text]Want to read more W@W Wedding Proposals?
