That’s usually the emotion drawn out whenever you see teary-eyed people on happy occasions such as weddings. But there’s also tears of joy. Its when the couple, their family and friends cannot seem to contain their happiness that they just can’t help but cry. Thanks to the 12 talented photographers featured here, we are able to showcase the deep emotions a wedding brings through this “Happy Tears” gallery which serves as Volume 2 of the 2009 W@W Desktop Gallery (we dubbed Volume 1 “Happy Happy” and images in that one are thumbnailed at the back of this calendar). Mind you, it’s not just the bride who always gets emotional. Some grooms sob too as you would see in the following pages. It’s also touching when you see the mom or the dad shed tears because they’re letting go of a daughter or a son. But we know that behind those tears is a feeling of gladness that finally the little child they carried years ago has taken another milestone in his or her life. 2009 will be especially significant for WeddingsAtWork.com (W@W) as we celebrate the site’s 10th anniversary. We share with you this desk calendar as a token of our utmost appreciation for the support you’ve given W@W throughout these years and the next ten-ten-te-ten years ahead!
