WaWie Group approval is long and tedious to some, confusing to others. Here’s some help.
WHO MAY JOIN THE WAWIE GROUP?
You may join if:
• You are not a wedding supplier, a relative or employee of one.
• Your wedding is more than 4 months away and not more than 24 months away.
WaW is for long term prepping, deliberating, reviewing. If your wedding is more than halfway done, joining will stress you more than help you. You will waste days catching up and reading and feeling more confused, and at times regretting some decision. Also the gem of the group is the after wedding kwento, and we can’t just let anybody have that privilege.
• You are willing to read the group’s rule as soon as you get approved.
We seriously remove members, it pains us but we really follow our rules. But be assured, we apply the same rules to all. So no need to request, explain, convince or even beg.
‣ Funny thing we encounter is to be told, buti nga I was honest eh. When we actually expect the answers to ALWAYS be honest.
‣ Or when we catch a person who is related to a supplier, can I just delete my post? Deleting the post won’t change the fact.)
• You are patient.
Our approval time is from 3-6 weeks. We don’t jump the line for anyone, so don’t message to let us know yours is urgent, we treat all requests as urgent.
• You are Filipino or marrying one; or living in the Philippines.
Yes, even if you call us racist, still a no.
• Your FB account is not a new one.
We are implementing this to avoid trolls/dummy accounts. FB bots also auto decline if you don’t have a profile picture. Our admins will decline requests if your Facebook name uses a special character because we can’t tag and message you when the need arises.
HOW TO JOIN:

Note: The usual Google Form error that applicants do are the following:
1. Placing the wrong Facebook name. Admins go to the form and copy your FB name directly and paste. So if your FB name is Benz Co-Rana and you wrote Benz Co Rana in the form, when moderators copy Benz Co-Rana, no results will come up, and we automatically decline.
2. Wrong input of your FB URL.
3. Saying your partner has no Facebook, but we find that there is.
4. Placing the wrong wedding date. Please put your wedding year, not the current year.
Go to the WaWie page: facebook.com/groups/WaWieGroup and click join.
Answer all 3 FB questions, and double check because once you edit your answer, it goes back to the end of the line again. If you edit the answers, your form goes back to the end of the line and that goes back to day 1 again for 3-6 weeks.
Admins work on approving via chronological order. Don’t message us to tell us yours is rushed as we have never jumped the line for anyone, except for the relatives of the owner and admins who work on the group. That’s just a total of 2 times we did it ever.

We have a lot of Auto Decline parameters.
These are the most common reasons are:
• Not 3/3 of the FB questions were answered.
• You clicked join group and failed to answer within 1 hour.
• You are simply not qualified to join. (See reasons above on who may join.)
• New FB account or No Profile Picture or FB Name is with special characters we can’t type/remember
For cases declined, rectify issues and just rejoin.
If you find that you can’t see the group facebook.com/groups/WaWieGroup anymore then possible reasons would be:
• You are a wedding supplier, a relative of one or an employee of one. Yes, even outsourced and far from the events department.
If your event business has closed already, we allow it. But it has to be 5 years since the last event.
• Your wedding is near na like in less than 4 months upon admin reaching your request. We do have an allowance– we weigh the waiting time so allowance is already computed.
HOW TO KNOW YOUR REQUEST STATUS:
• When you click facebook.com/groups/WaWieGroup and it says JOIN GROUP, that means you got declined, so just redo it.
• If you CAN’T FIND THE GROUP, that means you got blocked, see reasons why you cant join and if reason is there, that’s it. If the reason is not there, please message me at facebook.com/benzcorana to know why.
• If you see CANCEL REQUEST/PENDING APPROVAL, that means admins have yet to reach your request, wait lang. DO NOT touch your answers in the questions so the request won’t go back to the end of line.
FOR MEMBERS WHO GOT REMOVED
The reason might possibly because:
• You deactivated your FB Account. We auto remove deactivated accounts, even if it was just 5 mins and you reactivated back. It is automatic. If you got removed because you deactivated, just rejoin, but please note, we will permanently remove if you deactivate again. We only allow you to do this once, we are now at 3-6 weeks approval time, sadly, the reactivation is part of the additional load.
• You have been in the group for more than 2 years.
We think 2 year planning is the right average for the long term, if yours is more than that just join us when it is 2 years to go. When you join too early, usually there’s a lot of changes and all the time spent answering your early questions go futile wasting the group’s resources.
• You violated a rule and got removed.
In a perfect world we wish we could message and inform you why, but we simply can’t afford the time and manpower to do so. Apologies in advance. In a perfect world also, we wish you really did read the rules and check on it every now and then to remember the cardinal rules where once violated no second chance.
FOR MEMBERS WHO GOT REMOVED

FOR MEMBERS WHO ANSWERED EVERYTHING BUT WAS DECLINED
• Did someone send you an invite to join? If yes huhuhu sorry we auto decline invited because it is complicated. We told members to not invite yet some miss that so please tell the friend who invited you to not invite, and to read the rules please. To join please read How To Join.
• When you get declined over and over again, we understand your frustration. But please know it happens only because you missed something. We are also managing our frustration over you overlooking the answers you input, this adds heavily to the load of work we do.
