Fireworks display right after they went out of the ceremony area was so magical.

To be able to achieve the perfect shots, the team started to shoot at 5:30 in the morning to ensure that the piazza will be almost empty. And oh how beautiful the photos turned out!

One of the sweetest ones I’ve witnessed.

The Cebu wedding though had a lot of guests (900 pax!) still felt intimate. The festivities started as early as the day before the wedding, when guests started coming in from manila and all over the world.

Dec 8, the night before the wedding we had an impromptu get together at the bridal suite of the bride, Kaye. This was documented using our aerial drone for almost the whole travel time! It was one of the most beautiful churches I’ve been to. It’s small enough to feel intimate yet big enough to let Kaye have her grand bridal walk. So when we were conceptualizing their prenuptial shoot, we really had to have one concept that’s travel related. They were both very clear that they didn’t want a beach prenuptial shoot because their wedding next year will be held in the beach. Second requirement was that it had to have a big lush garden. And third was that it had to have a vintage feel. Hence I really took time and made effort to find the perfect spot! Even in her Instagram account, one will notice that her brother goes with her and Lloyd almost anywhere and everywhere they went. She was calling since she said, Paul Jake wanted to hire us to cover the surprise birthday celebration for his girlfriend Kaye.

And so when the team of Nice Print was preparing on the day of May 21st getting ready to head to Alabang, I got another call, this time from Paul Jake himself. He said that nobody knew, not even the closest friends that he was going to propose that night! Only Paul Jake, Kaye’s dad and brother knew since he formally asked for his daughter’s hand.

And so needless to say, Paul Jake told me to make sure it was to be kept a secret! And the 34th cake had toppers of wedding rings. 🙂 That’s when Paul Jake fell on his knee to propose. To her surprise, upon entering the tent, she realized that it was a birthday bash for her!

She was soooo surprised. She was truly so happy. Her fans and friends and family truly made her 21st birthday so memorable.

There were also 21 cakes from different fans clubs and friends which had different themes that are close to Maine’s heart. There was a Coachella-themed cake, of course, and there was also a New York-inspired themed cake since Maine really loves the “city that never sleeps.

This was the very first part of the program and Maine happily watched the video.

In the AVP, we got to interview her old teachers in St. Paul school, as well as visited her favorite local restaurants in her hometown Bulacan. Her siblings and parents also gave their special messages for the phenomenal star.

WaWParazzi: Nyoy and Mikkie

Since then whenever we see each other in celebrity events, we would chat and exchange pleasantries.

When they got engaged last year, it was agreed that nice print would be covering their wedding.

In their thank you speech last night in fact, they mentioned how they didn’t know where to start the wedding planning until they talked to me and I guided them through it all.

Their official hashtag is #carpoolforever because ever since they met, they always are carpool mates, both living in the south 🙂

Nyoy and Mikkie though are opposites in a lot of ways, but are truly meant for each other. They compliment each other.

If there’s one thing in common with the two, it’s their love for music! Nyoy, as we all know, is a well-known acoustic singer and Mikkie is a stage play theater actress.

It’s just expected that somehow somewhere in their wedding, they will both sing.

Cake was by Honeyglaze cakes and the souvenirs were such cute musical themed items courtesy of Knotville Favors.

WaWParazzi: Arthur Solinap & Rochelle Pangilinan Marriage Proposal

They told me that we had to meet so we can come up with a great plan for the surprise proposal and to discuss the ideas of Arthur.

The plan was that Art and Rochelle were to have a post Valentine’s dinner in another resto that night. Art was supposed to take her to dinner around 7:30 PM, but before that, Art would make a quick stop in Balay Indang and he was to tell Rochelle that they can have a few photos taken in the place where they first met.

Upon entering the reception area, Rochelle and Art were to be stopped by the manager (who happens to be a talent, I got to act as the manager) since there was supposed to be a party happening.

Art excused himself to go to the toilet and that was his cue to go to the spot in the gazebo where he’d propose.

Rochelle on the other hand heard over the two way radio that Art requested her to be brought to the gazebo area so they can take photos there.

And when she opened the door, she saw a tunnel full of white fairy lights and at the end of the tunnel was a beautiful gazebo adorned with white wisteria flowers all styled by Michael Ruiz.

Then she heard the acoustic music by Singer Mygz, singing their favorite love song– “always be my baby”.

The highlight, of course, was when Art popped the question, soon after he professed his love for Rochelle and highlighting how thankful he was to God that He gave him Rochelle

It was truly romantic and beautiful.

Well-wishers, special friends and family were all waiting for them at the dining hall. It was truly a perfect night for Art and Rochelle. And I am just truly blessed to be part of yet another new beginning in a couple’s lives.

WaWParazzi: Ali Khatibi and Cristine Reyes

Since day one when I met Ali and Cristine they have made it clear how they want their wedding to be simple. In fact, the first plan was to have it at the backyard of their new home.

I was not sure at that point if we could pull that off given their celebrity status. But to my surprise, that was exactly what happened last January 27 in Balesin island.

They planned to delay the big wedding because they had a lot on their plate right now, then they called last December to have an intimate wedding in Balesin along with the pictorial.

With just 24 guests, no fancy gown or designer shoes, no fireworks or live music, no make up artist or hairstylist, no ceremony or reception grand set up, even sans all that’s grand, but the wedding came out totally totally perfect.

January 26
Day started so early around 6am and we flew to Balesin island 🙂 with just 24 guests, 5 crew from nice print team. There was no other supplier in tow but our team :):)

We landed in the beautiful island and shortly after lunch we started to explore the island and prepared for our pre wedding shoot.

We started the pre-wedding shoot around 3 pm.
I was at an awe to see Cristine in a simple dress with absolutely no make up, and hair just washed not even blow dried. Wow! Just wow!

Aside from the fact that she is truly beautiful sans make up, it was amazing how this celebrity can be confident to face the cameras without make up.

Here are some of the official prenuptial shots 🙂 🙂 So effortless and simple yet so perfect.
With no make up artist, no styling group with us and no pegs, just two people madly deeply in love. ️

And so the day January 27 started around 8am att Villa 17, the villa of the couple.

We are so used to weddings having an early call time for preparations, I was so surprised to find out that we were only to be at their villa a little over an hour before her walk down the aisle.

They were that relaxed.

Around 8am, when I called Cristine, she was casually having a relaxed breakfast at the clubhouse and Ali was having a quick haircut also at the clubhouse. They were that spontaneous and that relaxed. Wow! Just wow! 🙂

And so when they went back to their villa, they only took less than an hour to prepare and Cristine inspite of no make up artist/ hairstylist was sooooo beautiful :)!

Around 930 am BTS iPhone shots of the ceremony area. Look at how simple the set up is. No backdrop no flower arrangements. It was as simple as it could be but it was so beautiful.

No eyes were dry that morning. All of us including my team were all crying throughout the ceremony 🙂

WaWparazzi: Princess Sarah Is Engaged!

We’re talking about Camille Prats, the actress who brought the much-loved cartoon character Princess Sarah to life. Last July 18, she said yes to the marriage proposal of her non-showbiz boyfriend VJ Yambao after two years of being together.

This would be her second marriage. Camille was first married in 2008 to Anthony Linsangan. The union bore a son named Nathaniel Caesar. Anthony, however, succumbed to nasopharyngeal cancer in 2011.

But love found her again and she met VJ. They officially became an item in December 2013.

The back story

VJ and I would casually talk about his plans to propose few weeks after the wedding of John Prats and Isabel Oli last May. He had great exciting plans for the proposal. There were a lot of ideas that came up but at the end of it all, one thing was evident–VJ wanted it to be very special for Camille.

He was very sure of three things. One, it had to be in Nayomi resort, which is owned by the Prats family, because this is a place close to the hearts of the Prats family, including Camille

Two, VJ wants all the family members and close friends of Camille to be present.

Three, Nathan, Camille’s son from her first marriage, had to be part of the big proposal.

Most memorable moments

There were so many tear-jerking and heartwarming moments during the marriage proposal. The top moments for me were:

One, when Nathan shed tears of joy while watching the AVP prepared by VJ.

Two, seeing Camille cry all throughout the surprise, most especially when she was still unsure of what was happening upon entering the venue, and yet she was already shedding buckets of tears. It was such a beautiful moment.
