About this Edition:

Whew! Did we make it on time or what? This 2005-2006 Edition of the Bride’s Yellow Pages (BYP) definitely is our toughest to date.

A week before our scheduled press run, the BYP files in our PC had gone missing. All the final ad layouts erased, and our back-up files for every directory entry, gone! What’s puzzling is the fact that all other files in our computer remained intact! It felt like a cruel joke that we didn’t find a wee bit funny. We even went into a denial phase. With our momentum lost, it took us two extra weeks just to catch up for all that were lost.

But the setbacks made completion of this BYP even sweeter. We are glad to announce the addition of new categories and sub-categories like Wedding Officiants, Dessert Stations, Beauty & Fitness, and even, Pre-Wedding essentials among others. The icon seen in some entries mean that these companies recognize holders of the newly launched W@W TAG who avail of their products or book their services.

We have also expanded the BYP’s coverage to include listings which goes beyond Metro Manila. Entries in some categories now include North, Central & South Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. We even got some advertisers from Baguio, Cabanatuan, Pampanga and Cebu. This validates WeddingsAtWork.com‘s position as the most trusted wedding resource nationwide. The book has gotten thicker too with a total of 128 pages from last year’s 84, making this is our thickest ever!

As usual, we again sought the valuable help by some of our dear W@Wies (special thanks to Abby, Alynn, Bea, Concon, Dionne, Emy, Jhenifer, Laine, Marj, Mureen, Milett, Steph, and most importantly, Jacque!) who verified and updated the contact infos of every listed wedding supplier for content accuracy.

Coming up with this BYP has been one roller coaster ride for us. We hope that this edition will continue to be the useful and handy reference for soon-to-weds and wedding suppliers alike, as with our past two editions.
