Welcome! We’re glad you found your way to this page. We know we’ve been a little naughty today but it’s all for the sake of good clean fun. If you don’t find it funny, LIGHTEN UP! =) The page you’ve just been is literally our ‘mirror site‘. Like we’ve always said, W@W is not your typical stiff, lifeless and automated wedding website. It’s a site run by real people with some sense of humor! Read the back story how we came up with this loony idea. April Fooled yah! =)
We have been invited to guest in Breakfast at Studio 23 tomorrow (Wednesday). Though being interviewed LIVE on national TV scares the hell out of us, the prospect of promoting W@W is just too hard to pass up. If you’re an early-riser, try to catch it. We do hope it goes well.
Happy Chinese New Year! To welcome the Year of the Rooster, we again highlight the various efforts W@W has made in assisting soon-to-wed Tsinoy couples. Since Chinese-Filipino weddings are usually more elaborate, we have formed the W@W-kan chiu eGroup and published “My Little Kan Chiu Book“. We now also have a separate Ting Hun (Chinese Engagement) category in our online directory. Kiong Hee!

On December 4, (and every 1st Saturday of the month thereafter) comes an issue of “About Weddings“– a special section of the Manila Bulletin. Aside from its feature stories, regular sections include Bridal Buzz (latest happenings in the wedding industry), Photo of the Month (favorite wedding shot by a featured photographer), Celebrity Dream Weddings (peek into a celeb’s ideal celebration), Recipes for Two (culinary delight from a featured chef), Wedding Announcements, and of course, Prep Talk — our very own monthly column that tackles everything about wedding planning. As our initial offering, we went on “A Nostalgic (and Hilarious) Walk Down Memory Lane“ by revisiting and reminiscing about the oddities of weddings past. Obviously, we can’t credibly comment how good it is since we’re part of its team. Just grab yourself a copy and see for yourself!
